Echo Water Sculpture

Given that most water features are vertical, I started to get curious about the effects you could achieve with water on a horizontal plane. When a ripple goes to the edge of a horizontal plane, some of it comes back on itself - enough to give an effect. I developed this theme into the Echo. Ripples emanate from two concentric rings and can be set to any timeframe. This creates a limitless interaction between the ripples and a sublime mesmerising effect, with the pulse of each exploding and imploding ripple. The infinite pattern created by the ripples calms and inspires the senses. A piece to enhance any landscape and everyone’s well-being. A version of the Echo was featured in the World Vision Garden at Chelsea Flower Show. It’s mesmerising effect caught the attention of celebrity visitors and garden designers alike - and was declared “Best water feature in show,” by the renown designer, Toby Buckland
The Sculpture can be fitted with a ring of LEDs mounted within a remote controlled metal ring. M&E can be designed to be part of the feature, either self-contained or sited remotely.
