Fireworx

Fire is an amazing phenomenon - an essential element bringing light and heat. Like water, it has intrinsic beauty and a magnetic pull that mesmerises and delights the senses. I wanted to create something that celebrates the intrinsic beauty of fire. A piece that would hold and enhance the flowing forms of the flames and exalt their heat and power. Most fire baskets contain the fire and conceal its molten core. The openness of the Fireworx design exposes all of the fire so you can see and enjoy it in its fullness. The sculpture’s dynamic shape both holds and releases the bright hot flames, as they flicker and light up the darkness with their hypnotising dance.
