Coaching for Students
Students might be identified by a member of staff as suitable for coaching or volunteer themselves for this assistance. Each individual’s session will:
- Require the student’s commitment to the process
- Utilise coaching questions to uncover goals and potential obstacles
- Be a positive process that highlights the student’s strengths
- Recognise the resourcefulness of the student in overcoming barriers to success
- Use suitable tools to discover each student’s values, beliefs and/or personality type, according to the individual’s agenda
- Run for between 20 and 30 minutes
The Basic Teacher-Coach Training Programme

- Some theoretical input on the basic coaching concepts

- Stages of a coaching session
- Useful coaching questions
