Empowering People • Enabling Success

A small phrase summing up a big mission. Behind it lies a commitment to help you succeed.

For several years we have been helping organisations and individuals to succeed in achieving their goals, which is helping us move towards ours one step at a time: a world where everyone is working/living to their full potential and is valued for what they do.

Ethical Standards

We operate in line with our values, which equate to fairness and sustainability. This means that:

  • Respect and integrity in our dealings with clients, associates and providers is of paramount importance to us. In addition, we adhere to our professional body's Code of Practice.
  • Ecological impact is minimised wherever possible. Travel, for example, is undertaken by the most practicable fuel-efficient means, with work arranged to keep journeys to a minimum without affecting the delivery of our service. Many of the materials we use are sourced from sustainable supplies.
  • Ethical organisations are given preference over others when we purchase equipment or services. 'Ethical organisations' are those that we believe align with our own values.

Simon Percival - Principal

An experienced facilitator, writer and leadership and performance coach, Simon is Principal of Simon Percival & Associates, an organisation that offers a more personalised form of learning and development to business, education and individuals.

With a background in a variety of educational and vocational learning contexts, Simon brings a wealth of experience to any developmental situation. He has worked nationally on developing and enhancing professional and personal skills, including those for leadership, coaching, communication and effective learning for all situations, as well as raising awareness of motivational factors and creating harmonious and optimal working relationships in teams. Together with his associates, Simon also specialises in nurturing emotional intelligence, developing creativity and enhancing more effective thinking. In short, he helps people and organisations develop their potential. His versatility means that he has helped improve performance in a range of settings: coaching on a one-to-one basis with managers to students; facilitating countless small-group workshops for employees, teachers and students; and delivering keynote speeches in rooms of up to 250 people.

Simon's books reflect his passion for developing performance. Amongst these are Thinking for Learning (2002, Network Continuum, co-authored with Mel Rockett), which encourages the development of thinking skills alongside knowledge acquisition in education, and The Practical Guide to Revision Techniques (2005, Network Continuum). Others are in the pipeline. His current publications sell as far afield as Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand.

Simon is also a member of the Association for Coaching, an assessor and Senior Coach at the Institute of Educational Coaching and a qualified facilitator of the Strength Deployment Inventory®. His facilitation, coaching, and enthusiasm for what he does will help you develop the skills to succeed.
